Planetary Union of the Galaxy Dossier

Name: Squee

Birth: Capital City, Rok

Species: Rokma

Age: 76

Organizational Affiliation: Rokma Holy Order

  • Status: <Banished>
  • Rank: Fifth Caleek

Current Occupation: Shield technician aboard transport ship Seraph

Last Known Location: Hub Trading Station

History:

Squee joined the Rokma religious council quite young. He trained as a Caleek, a form of shaman who helps guides Rokma in following the true path of the Gods. As such, Squee was destined to not spend his life isolated within the religions institution and joined the Rokma Defense Force during the AI War, training as a shield technician.

Following the war, Squee became a vocal critic of the Rokma Council of Elders and their decisions to remain only loosely tied to PUG. He believed the Rokma should further embrace the other species they had fought with to win the war and called out the Councils bigotry and corruption. We have no confirmed reports, but it is believed that his defiance of the Council about these matters led to his banishment from Rokma space.

How Squee became marooned on an uninhabited planet near the Hub is unknown, and if its related to his banishment, but he was rescued by the crew of the independent transport ship Seraph. Squee joined the crew and has served with them since.

***CLASSIFIED – TOP SECRET***

Squee was with Seraph when they engaged the LFD flagship and destroyed the new Central AI they had developed. It is believed that the Rokma Council of Elders approached him following this incident in an effort for him to help them declare a Holy War against all remaining forms of artificial intelligence. It can only be assumed that Squee turned them down as he has remained with the crew of Seraph.

The Rokma, however, have begun moving toward a Holy War ever since. So far, troubling incidents have only occurred within Rokma space. Squee is rumored to be related to the incident on Lolia where hundreds of AI were freed from prison. It is believed the AI were being detained for no reason on their their status as AI, in violation of the PUG peace accords honoring sentient status of AI liberated from the Central AI at the end of the war.

Intelligence is concerned on where this will lead and the future status of the Rokma within PUG. Squee could be of value in these efforts and if Seraph can be located after they return from a survey of sector J-25 it is suggested he be contacted.

Find out what happens to Squee and the rest of the crew out in unexplored space in Seraph’s Break releasing on December 1st!
