Blah Blah Blah

I’m coming up on having been writing on this blog for one month.  In that time I’ve made 30 posts in the following categories:

• 12 Games
• 6 Geekery
• 8 General
• 1 Life
• 5 Politics
• 2 Writing

I started this blog for a variety of reasons. One reason was to give myself a place to just rant about whatever I was interested in saying. In that sense, it’s been a success.  My topics have ranged over quite a few different topics. I’m not sure if I should continue that approach, talking about whatever I want, or try and narrow my focus to one of those categories. I’m not sure which I would prefer to do or which one might help with my second goal.

My other goal was slightly more selfish, gaining some readers who, when I some day get my book published (conventionally or self) there would be a few people other than my family who might be willing to check it out.I installed a stat plugin yesterday, which show so far I have had 12 visitors in two days. Not sure how many of those are me. The rest are probably bots or the few Rogues who have posted here. Now, this blog is attached to the website I created for The Rogues gaming guild. I’m wondering if I should take it to another URL that could be transformed into a author/book website, or stick with it here.

So many choices and so many decisions to make. Thoughts from what few people who read this? Should I narrow my writing focus? Should I change URL’s?
