Introducing the Newest Basta

Published by Wayne on

Our son was born early this morning after three long days. We went in on Sunday night for an induction and had to end with a C-section at 3am on Wednesday morning. It was a long experience.  We’ve had very little sleep over the last three days, less than 10hrs total I think. And I doubt it’s going to get better anytime soon.

At some point I’ll have more energy and more to say. For now, there’s just this.

PS: I haven’t forgotten about my commitment to tracking my weightloss and exercise progress here on the blog. This was just a bad week to start. Been eating terribly for the last few days. But I did do a reasonable job of working out before we went to the hospital. Here are my latest results:

Progress as of, Wednesday, February 22, 2012

  • Weight: 331.8lbs (-1.2)
  • Push-Ups: 20 in two sets (+5)
  • Sit-Ups:  strained my stomach muscles doing these and couldn’t do anymore for a few days.
  • Run: 0.63 Miles in 9min 51sec (longer time, but longer distance)

Next Check in Goals

  • Weight: 330lbs (-1.8lbs)
  • Push-Ups: 20 in two sets (non cheater style)
  • Sit-Ups: 40 in two sets (+2)
  • Run: 0.75 Miles in 12min 30 sec

Congratulations!

I’m not sure who looks more tired in the photo though. 😉
