Free Books

My book has just become available on Amazon’s Kindle Select program. This means that Amazon Prime members, who also own a Kindle, can borrow my book for free. You might think this to be a terrible option for me, why give my book away for free? Well, Amazon members can Read more…

The Ocaitchi Legacy

I recently finished chapter 1 in SWTOR with my smuggler character. One of the games features at this point is the unlocking of the Legacy system. There isn’t much to it right now, aside from earning xp towards legacy levels (that don’t mean anything yet) and the ability to have Read more…

Nose to the Grind Stone

Well, the holidays are over. Time to get back to work. I have a novel to finish writing and then edit into a coherent story.  But first I have to remember what the hell I was doing two weeks ago. I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with the first day Read more…

Aristeia: Revolutionary Right

The day is here! Now available for sale on Amazon: The Kindle version is up but the paperback and hardback versions are not yet linked. We’re just waiting on Amazon to go ahead and make that connection. Could be a few days unfortunately. I can not begin to describe the Read more…

Evolution of a Cover part 7

Evolution of a Cover part 5

The two color concepts that Oliver developed ended up being merged together. Maarkean and the planet surface get a bit brighter look, so that they don’t appear so blue. But the nice dark, blue/purple night sky remains intact.

Evolution of a Cover part 3

The evolution continues and things start to come together. Oliver trimmed the horns down some to be more bumps/ridges and the screfa tattoo came down to just cover Maarkean’s cheek. The Cutty Sark has taken shape in this one to it’s final silhouette. Also, some details on his SK-9 pistol start to Read more…

Evolution of a Cover part 2

Today, we’ll continue the cover concept art evolution with Oliver‘s second draft. Here you can see some facial features of Maarkean and an early concept for the Cutty Sark. His tattoo extends a little bit high, but I liked the direction Oliver went with the ears. Adds a little bit Read more…
