STO 2nd Year Anniversary

I have kind of a love/hate relationship with Star Trek Online. It’s Star Trek so that naturally appeals to me. But it’s never really live up to it’s potential as a game.

But today is it’s second anniversary, so I’ll give it some laurels for lasting this long, despite all of the trouble. My lifetime account purchase is now paying dividends. I’ll get 400 C-points every month going forward for free.

The big festivities for this anniversary is the release of the new Enterprise-F, Odyssey class starship. There is a short mission you can get that has you take the new ship out for a shake down cruise near Mars. After that you get a free copy of the ship. In the future they will release a “+1” version of this ship with some special ability, but for not it’s just a nice new cruiser. The main bonus is a universal Lt. Commander BO slot, which gives lots of versatility.
