Ranking Things- Marvel Cinematic Universe
Last week when I reviewed Ant-Man and the Wasp I debated putting a ranking in but couldn’t decide what criteria to use. I’m not a fan of ranking scales that place everything almost exclusively in a narrow window. A lot of places use a five-point scale, stars of letter grades, and almost everything is an A/B or 4/5 stars. That doesn’t really tell you very much about it.
So, in my bid to over-complicate everything I thought I’d rank all of the MCU movies against each other on a true five-point scale. They are all watchable and all, more or less, add to the overall narrative. The five-point scale breaks down as follows:
- Worst of the series- No real desire to ever see it again
- Kind of Meh- Has some issues but I could watch it again.
- A good movie to pop in on a lazy weekend afternoon
- Great movie= Something you could watch almost any time
- Best of the series
One Star
- Thor; The Dark World
- Incredible Hulk
- Technically it’s part of the MCU but I had forgotten that. So it’s here.
