Corruption Breeds Corruption

When you let a corrupt president off for corruption guess what happens? He goes and pardons people convicted on corrupt crimes. What do you suppose is going to happen next?

If you said anything other more people will do more corrupt things with the expectation that they can get away with you’re fooling yourself. The precedent has been set. Use and abuse your power as much as you want. As long as you keep those with more power happy they’ll let you get away with whatever you want.

This is the downward spiral people are worried about. Anyone with any integrity is leaving the government in droves. That leaves only the corrupt. Which will become even more corrupt. Because they can get away with it.

Impeachment doesn’t work. We have one more chance at a fair election doing the job. After that…
