History:
Olivia Ryans was born to a merchant family and has spent the vast majority of her life space bound. As a young child, her families transport was attacked by AI ships that seized control of the vessel, slaughtering the crew or venting them out to space. Olivia was among a small group of survivors that made it to an escape pod, though she was the only one of her family to do so.This event has instilled in her a deep distrust of all artificial lifeforms.
She grew up among refugees on the Hub station where it is believed she ‘fell through the cracks’ due to that stations very weak social safety net. She spent most of her young life living unsupervised with other refugee children. While food and shelter were scarce, the Hub did provide ample opportunities for job training by offering the refugee kids to residents and visiting ships as a source of cheap labor. They were not required to pay the kids much but were required to provide basic education and skills. Through a friendly transport pilot she learned the mechanics of flying a starship.
While still underage and unlicensed, Olivia was hired by Ariana Harkins of the independent transport ship Seraph as her pilot. It is uncertain to the level of her skill as reports indicate that Seraph put into Triask for extensive repairs a short time after she began work aboard.

The repairs mentioned above were sustained in battle against a combined terrorist and AI Warfleet. Reports suggest Olivia handled piloting of Seraph in combat with extreme skill. Now that she has reached legal adulthood, military recruiters are encouraged to reach out to her for work with the PUG Navy. Though, questions exist if she would be the wrong sort of mentality to join the upcoming AI Taskforce forming. The Rokma’s anti-AI stance is already very prevalent and it may be dangerous to further instill this bigotry into the fleet.
