Seal the Borders!

Well, Borders is closing. As a hopeful author, having a book store close isn’t a good thing. I’m not particularly partial to Borders. I split my time between them and Barnes and Nobles equally. I like the physical store of our local Borders better though.

It’s made me start thinking about self e-publishing again. There’s Barnes and Nobles left for the big book stores, small bookstores are pretty dead and most people go to Amazon. I doubt this would be a real effective option but I keep wondering if that is the way I’ll need to go. Finding an actual publisher would still solve many of the problems self-publishing has, mainly no one will buy your book because they don’t know who you are.
